Invitation to Get Hawt Friday #014 (FINALLY WITH ROUNDUP!)

Welcome to the 14th installment of GET HAWT FRIDAY! I explained the concept in the first installment of Get Hawt Friday:

THE best thing you can do for your fitness and health goals is to make them public…to be accountable to somebody else. So this is the open invitation to participate in a weekly group blog.

THEME THIS WEEK: Safety.  How do you keep safe when you’re out exercising? (Thanks to Dancem0m for the inspiration.)

Roundup

TSQLPrincess stays the course on eating well, but “One problem I’m having is coming up with new easy simple healthy dinners that are dairy free.”  I think it’s about time for a diet recipe roundup!  She has some good tips for workout safety: working out indoors, being aware, and letting someone know where you’ll be.

Nuurdygirl starts with safety tips, like being aware of your limitations (always good advice!)  She’s started circuit workouts recently to up her diet game. Attagirl!

Yanni casts her eye back over 15 weeks of training, with a big thanks to her biggest fan (her husband John), her trainer, family and supporters.  It take a village to climb a mountain, it seems, and Yanni’s post made me feel happy and supported…and I didn’t even climb the stairs today.

Your faithful (if tardy) moderator Jen writes about the busy-ness, the diet, the chinup training, and big dogs.

    I had to incorporate carbs back on the diet this week due to my climb preparations. Surprisingly, it didnt’ really made a difference on my weight (didnt gain any) and I really miss the all protein food!
