NaNo Day 29
From the NaNoWriMo.org “Week Five Pep Talk from Lindsey”:
And even if 50K is well and truly out of the question for you, even if you know there is no way you’ll hit it even if someone is offering you a million bucks and a frozen banana to get there, don’t stop chugging.
… Wherever you are in your novel, your characters have more to say. In fact, I think I hear them now…
They know you can, too.
I realized today that I can write 1,000 words in 20 minutes. And that I had 21,000 words and 36 hours to go. Mathematically, then, it’s still possible to finish.
Welp, I always have been the Queen of Last Minute Project Completion. Let’s try then, shall we?
- 3:00pm: 2,000 words written today, wordcount: 29,825.
- 4:30pm: wordcount 30,797. (Cheering on @SuccessBB, who’s doing the same kamikaze run)
- 7:00pm: 31,839. (Had to stop for dinner and all.)
- 8:55pm: 32,870.
- 10:23pm: 34,352. With the help of some questions from Twitter muses.
- 10:47pm: 34,991.
To be continued…
